Hurricane Katrina

Hurricane Katrina was one of the most destructive hurricane of the Atlantic ocean in 2005. It caused the most expensive disasters in any other disaster in U.S.A. It was the 5th lethal hurricane in the history of America, more than 1,833 people died because of that. To repair the disasters it caused, it cost about 81 million dollars. 

The hurricane started in Bahames in 23 August 2005 and ended at Texas in 29th of August. 

 

The lethal hurricane caused many floodings. Many people lost their houses, but many ordinary citizens offered boats, food and shelter and anything else they good offer to their neighbors. I forgot to metion that luckily meteorologists warned people as fast it was possible.
