Nobel prizes are a kind of money rewards but not only this. There are made to honour people for doing or discovering something very important that helps the society.

Alfred Nobel was a chemist, an inventor and an engineer. Nobel invented ballistite. Due to this invention he became extremely rich. In 1896 Alfred Nobel died. He left the 94% of his fortune to make the five Nobel Prizes. These five Nobel prizes are awarded for chemistry, literature, peace, physics, physiology or medicine and economic sciences. Only few people have been given a Nobel Prize. A Nobel Prize has the price of $985000.

Nobel Prizes are given very rarely and it is a huge honour for somebody that has it, because it means that he has done something extremely helpful. I wish I had a Nobel Prize because I would be very honoured.

Winning a Nobel Prize is extremely honourable for the people who receive it. They take it because they have done something special and good for humanity.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 to Mother Tereza. In this way the Committee recognized Mother Tereza’s help to suffering people, especially to children and refugees. Because of her, the world has become a better place.

Another person who has won a Nobel Prize is Rabindrantath Tagore. He was the first Indian man to win one. He was a poet, a philosopher and also an artist and he won the prize of Literature. He wrote many stories, novels, poems and dramas. He is also well known for composing music. His writings greatly influenced Indian culture during the late 19^th century and early 20^th century.

People may receive a Nobel Prize for chemistry, literature, peace, physics, physiology or medicine and economic sciences. My favorite award is the peace award, because you don’t need knowledge and education to receive it. You need a lot of love, patience and kindness.

Nobel Prizes

The Nobel Prizes can be considered as the most prestigious awards in the world. The institution began in 1895 with the will of the Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel (1833-1896). They are annually announced in October (October 3 - 10) and awarded (since 1901) on 10 December, on Nobel's death anniversary. The prizes are five (Physics, Chemistry, Medicine and Physiology, Literature and Peace). Each prize consists of a gold medal, a diploma stating the reason for the award and a monetary amount, which depends on the revenue of the Nobel Foundation. The award takes place in Stockholm but the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo, the capital of Norway .

The Nobel Prize for Literature is a prize awarded from 1901 and onwards to an author in life from any country that, according to the Will of Alfred Nobel, has produced the most impressive work in the field of literature. The term work refers to the writer's entire worksheet and not to any particular piece of artwork.

The Nobel Peace Prize is one of the five awards and it is given to the person who has contributed the most to the twinning of nations, the abolition or reduction of military forces, and the conduct and promotion of peace processes. The Prize is awarded in Oslo, and particularly at the city's town hall. Over the last decade, the award ceremony is followed by a concert on peace that takes place the next day. The selection of winners has generated reactions many times, as people who had previously promoted violence have been selected. The youngest Nobel Peace winner was Malala Yousafazai from Pakistan, in 2014, who is struggling for girls' right to education. She was born in 1997, so she was only 17 years old when she won the Prize. We can say that the Nobel Prizes of  Literature and Peace are the most controversial.

From my point of view, the Nobel Prizes are a very significant institution that rewards people who are interested in Physics, Chemistry, Medicine and Physiology and other fields such as Literature and Peace. I believe it should definitely continue existing, as it indirectly helps the development of  science and generally humanity.

NOBEL PRIZES

The Nobel Prize is considered to be the most prestigious prize available in the fields of literature, medicine, physics, chemistry, peace, and economics.The various awards are awarded each year. Each Nobel Prize winner receives a gold medal, a diploma and a monetary amount, which is decided by the Nobel Foundation. 
   The Norwegian Nobel Committee each year awards the Nobel Peace Prize to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.The first Nobel Peace Prize was awarded in 1901 to Henry Dunant,from Switzerland,for his role in founding the International Committee of the Red Cross and Frederic Passy,from France,for being one of the main founders of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and also the main organizer of the first Universal Peace Congress.    
   The Nobel Prize in Chemistry is awarded annually by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences to scientists in the various fields of chemistry.The first Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded in 1901 to Jacobus Henricus van't Hoff,from Netherlands, for his discovery of the laws of chemical dynamics and osmotic pressure in solutions.  
   In my opinion, the Nobel Prizes are very important and should continue to happen the following years.
 

“Big Bang” theory

One of the most known comedies is the so-called “Big Bang” theory.  This theory is the most widely accepted, coming from the famous scientist Einstein. All the comedy tricks are based on the scientific work of a group of young scientists, along with their personal characteristics.

The show originally centered on five characters living in Pasadena, California:  Leonard Hofstadter  and   Sheldon Cooper, both physicists at Caltech, who share an apartment; Penny, a waitress and aspiring actress who lives across the hall; and Leonard and Sheldon's similarly geeky and socially awkward friends and co-workers, aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali. Over time, supporting characters have been promoted to starring roles including, physicist Leslie Winkle, neuroscientist  Amy Farrah  Fowler,  microbiologist Bernadette Rostenkowski, and Stuart Bloom, the cash-strapped owner of the comic book store the characters often visit. As the theme of the show revolves around science, many distinguished and high-profile scientists have appeared as guest stars on the show.

            Famous astrophysicist and Nobel laureate George Smoot had a short appearance in the second season. Theoretical physicist Brian Greene appeared in the fourth season, as well as astrophysicist, science populizer, and physics outreach specialist Neil deGrasse Tyson, who also appeared in the twelfth season.

Cosmologist Stephen Hawking made a short guest appearance in the fifth-season episode;^[57] in the eighth season, Hawking video conferences with Sheldon and Leonard, and makes another appearance in the 200th episode. In the fifth and sixth seasons, NASA astronaut Michael J. Massimino played himself multiple times in the role of Howard's fellow astronaut. Bill Nye appeared in the seventh and twelfth seasons.

I believe that this comedy show is the funniest TV series. It is suitable for all ages, very clever and many people all over the world watch it phanatically.

Friends, television comedy

My favorite series is “Friends”, an American television comedy, lasting ten seasons.  The show revolves around six friends in their 20s and 30s who live in Manhattan, New York City. 

Rachel Green played by actress Jennifer Aniston, flees her wedding day and finds childhood friend Monica Geller, played by Courteney Cox,  a New York City chef. They become roommates, and Rachel joins Monica's group of single people in their mid-20s, The group consists of  struggling actor Joey Tribbiani,  played by Matt LeBlanc. Chandler Bing, played by Matthew Perry, is  a  business professional.  Phoebe Buffay played by Lisa Kudrow, is a masseuse and musician.  Ross Geller, played by David Schwimmer, is a newly divorced palaeontologist  Monica's older brother. Rachel becomes a waitress at Manhattan coffee house Central Perk; when not there, the group is usually at Monica and Rachel's nearby West Village apartment, or Joey and Chandler's across the hall.

Episodes depict the friends' comedic and romantic adventures and career issues, such as Joey auditioning for roles or Rachel seeking jobs in the fashion industry. The six characters each have many dates and serious relationships, It shows friendship at a time that they are single in the city where your friends are your family.

I like this series because it is a comedy involving young people living together and sharing expenses and  memorable periods of their lives with friends, who had become "new, surrogate family members."

Peaky Blinders

Peaky Blinders is an English five series television crime drama set in 1920s Birmingham in England, after of the First World War. The series was created by Steven Knight and produced by Caryn Mandabach Productions, Screen Yorkshire and Tiger Aspect Productions, follows the exploits of the Shelby crime family.

Peaky Blinders is a famous gangster family set in Birmingham in England in 1919, few months after the end of the First World War in November 1918. The story based on the Peaky Blinders gang and their ambitious and very cunning boss Tommy Shelby. The gang comes to the attention of Chief Inspector Major Chester Campbell, a detective in the Royal Irish Constabulary, where he had been sent by Winston Churchill from Belfast to "clean" the city of the Irish Republican Army, Communists, gangs and common criminals. Winston Churchill required him to stop the mess and the revolution in Birmingham and recover a stolen huge amount of weapons meant to be sent to Libya.

The second series shows the Shelby family expand their criminal organization in the South and North.

The third series starts and ends in 1924 when Tommy and his family enter in a more dangerous world but this time internationally.

The fourth series begins on Christmas Eve 1925 and ends in the general strike of May 1926.

The main cast of Peaky Blinders is Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby. The leader of the Peaky Blinders. Helen McCrory as Polly. The aunt of Tommy and his siblings and treasurer of the Peaky Blinders. Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby. The oldest Shelby siblings and one of the leaders of the Peaky Blinders.

Peaky Blinders presents a special story by moving out of its own comfort zone and taking the risk of expanding too much and too quickly. It is an amazing series that can teach you a lot of interesting things.
