Banning smoking

First of all I am in favor of banning smoking for plenty of reasons.

To begin with, smoking in public places not only disturbs people around, but it has a lethal effect on them. Second hand smokers' health is more influenced than the smokers'. I mean these people don't do anything bad but at the end their health is worse than it should be. And all these for what? For just going out in public places. Isn't this unfair? But the worse part of these is that children's upbringing is influenced too. Some parents quit smoking so their kids can grow up and be healthy and they are still harmed by strangers. So all the hard work goes to waste.

Moreover, if a person stops smoking so much he may even quit smoking so not only will the health of people around him be improved, but also his own health. A smoker's health after quiting improves so much I can't understand why people keep doing this when they know how much better their health would be. If people smoke for too long, they are very likely to get cancer.I guess that the best choice is obvious to everyone.

On the other hand, there are those who argue that banning smoking violates their rights. Their main argument is that if people are not allowed to smoke in public places the place they will use is their house where there may be their children, so the children will be in danger. But has anyone thought about the other children? The children that happened to be around smokers? They are more and as they are constantly around people who smoke their lives become worse than the others'.

Killing someone with a gun or a knife is illegal -even carrying them without permission is. But when it comes to cigarettes, it is all legal. All the above are able to kill people, but not all of them are illegal. Unless you have a CCP "Cigarette Carrying Permission", you should not be allowed to smoke in public places.
