I believe that all of us know this painting. It was painted by Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, who was born on 6th of March in 1475 and died on 18th of Februar in 1564. Commonly known as a sculptor,he also painted a lot. They say that he was absorbed in his job. He didn't have a family and he was a very antisocial person. When a pope asked him to paint the Vatican, he became angry because he had a great sculpture underway. After some days of working into the Vatican he started firing all the people who helped him and continued it by himself. He finished the painting in four years including 342 almost human figures with great detail.

Here you can see the skin that the angel is holding in his hand has Michelangelos' face. This painting is also in the Vatican painted by him.
This is Moses also made by Michelangelo. It is in front of the grave of the pope who asked him to stop decorating this grave to draw the walls of the Vatican. What I believe about this sculpture, is that if you look at it carefully you have the feeling that it is about to stand up and start walking like a real living man.
Michelangelo was one of the greatest Renaissance artists and that is why he is very famous.
