Devastating disasters.

Devastating disasters. One of the most alarming problems that appeared from the beginning of the earth's creation. There are many different categories of disasters such as those who are related to the earth, others that are related to the sea and lastly those of the air.But they have all got something common. The negative results. One of the worst disasters in humanity's history was the tsunami in Indonisia after an earthquake in 2004.Lets analyse it more!!!

It was the 26th of December in 2004 and the clock was showed 00.58 am. Suddenly a terrifying 9.3 on the richter scale earthquake occured. It was the 3rd biggest earthquake in history. After 6 minutes of shaking the monster of the sea was released. A tsunami 100 feet tall(30 meters)appeared and destroyed more than 14 countries around Indonesia. The deaths were 230.210-280.00 after it.That was the 6th biggest distaster in the history of humanity. The cause was only the alarming earthquake.

Scientists couldn't disagree that there was no other reason that caused this tsunami than the earthquake.Till now, there are no machines that can warn you to protect yourself from earthquakes. You just can't escape them. You have to deal with them.

The greatest thing that came in the surface, literally,is that there were survivors. This sounds impossible but it is true.I would like to tell you survivors'names and some things they said about the tsunami.

Marthunis, 17, from Alue Naga village, Banda Aceh:I was in my school when all these happened. My mother died and my sister too.Only me and my father survived.Nazaruddin Musa, 42, from Darussalam, Banda Aceh:It was a life or death moment. I saw the first wave take hundreds of people. I ran down and picked up a small girl lying on the ground and took her up to the second floor. Then the second wave hit. After the first wave I could see the dead and injured but the second wave was devastating, it just swept everything away.Mahyuddin, 38, from Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar:Sadly, my house had been swept away. I had lost my wife and my son and I didn’t know what to do. I went to the great mosque and slept there on the terrace and the tremors continued into the night.

In my opinion people that survived are something more than humans. They are heroes.I wish I  never have to deal with something so  fierce.
