Martin garrix is a young, humble, talented and succesful dj from the Netherlands. He is one of the most popular Dj's in the world and his music has influenced many new artists over the years.
He is 22 years old and his real name is martijn Gerrard Garritsen. His hometown is Amstelveen, a city near Amsterdam. Just at the age of 8 he decided to become a dj after watching Tiestos show at the Olympics in 2004. So, firstly he created the name "Marty" and started mixing songs and playing on his friend's parties or on weddings of his parrents friends. Then, he started going to clubs and doing his shows there. He was really good at this and this is why many famous artists (one of them was Tiesto) offered to help and work with him.
He graduated from a production school in Amsterdam. And he first became famous after releasing his track "Animals" which was a hit in many countries. Moreover, he was ranked number one on the Dj's Mag top 100 list for three consecutive years.
Furthermore, he loves traveling with his family and friends and also his girlfriend "Charelle Schriek" who is a really successful model. The couple is two years together and they seem to be very happy together!
