Matthew Paige Damon was born in Cambridge, Massahussets on October 8th 1970 which makes him 48 years old. He is an American actor, filmmaker, producer and a screen writer.
At a very early age he moved to Newton.When he was 2 years old his parents divorced and he and his brother, went back to Cambridge to live with their mother at a communal house. As a lonely teenager, Damon had a hard time finding self identity. He was a good student and he also preformed at several high school theater productions. He also credited his drama teacher as an important artistic influence.
His first breakthrough role was during the 1990s when Damon and his friend Affleck wrote "Good Will Hunting" which received nine Academy Awards, an oscar for best screenplay and made 225 million dollars on the worldwide box office. During 2001-2007 Damon joined 2 lucrative film series:"Ocean's Trilogy" (2001-2007) and "Bourne"(2002-2016).He also produced the TV series "Project Greenlight" (2001-2005, 2015).
