The Impossible

''The Impossible'' is an american and spanish film.The whole story of the movie is based on true events tha Maria Belon and her family experienced in the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami.

Maria Belon, her husband Henry and their sons Lucas, Thomas and Simon spend their holidays in Thailand in 2004. The tsunami caused by the destruction of the Indian Ocean that year, hits the area where they are located.Mary and Lucas are driven away from others because of the tsunami. Maria is seriously injured. Their locals find and transport them to the local hospital. By mistake, hospital staff has the impression that Maria has died and Loucas is sent at a place where children find out that their families either have died or are missing. Maria is in the operating room and later reunites with Lucas.
In another part of the island, Henry, Thomas and Simon are all together. Henry puts the kids in a vehicle that transports tourists to a safe place. Later, he arrives at this location and discovers that the children were sent to another place. The media are hard to find but a tourist named Karl, who has also lost his family, helps Henry find Maria and Lucas.Henry and Karl are looking for their families in different places before going to the hospital where Maria and Lucas are. The vehicle that transports Thomas and Simon stops outside the hospital. There, eventually the family reunites. Maria is doing another surgery, which she survives and the next day the family gets on an airplane going to Singapore for further medical care.

''The Impossible'' is my favorite movie because it's shows the tragedy that people feel in their everyday lives and how we should be thankful of what we already have.
