Nobel prizes are a kind of money rewards but not only this. There are made to honour people for doing or discovering something very important that helps the society.

Alfred Nobel was a chemist, an inventor and an engineer. Nobel invented ballistite. Due to this invention he became extremely rich. In 1896 Alfred Nobel died. He left the 94% of his fortune to make the five Nobel Prizes. These five Nobel prizes are awarded for chemistry, literature, peace, physics, physiology or medicine and economic sciences. Only few people have been given a Nobel Prize. A Nobel Prize has the price of $985000.

Nobel Prizes are given very rarely and it is a huge honour for somebody that has it, because it means that he has done something extremely helpful. I wish I had a Nobel Prize because I would be very honoured.
