NOBEL PRIZES

   The Nobel Prize is a set of annual international awards,awarded in a number of categories in recognition of cultural and scientific achievements.Alfred Nobel was the one who institutionalized the prizes in 1895.The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo, Norway, while other awards are awarded in Stockholm, Sweden. The Nobel Prize is considered to be the most prestigious prize available in the fields of literature, medicine, physics, chemistry, peace, and economics.The various awards are awarded each year. Each Nobel Prize winner receives a gold medal, a diploma and a monetary amount, which is decided by the Nobel Foundation. 
   The Norwegian Nobel Committee each year awards the Nobel Peace Prize to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.The first Nobel Peace Prize was awarded in 1901 to Henry Dunant,from Switzerland,for his role in founding the International Committee of the Red Cross and Frederic Passy,from France,for being one of the main founders of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and also the main organizer of the first Universal Peace Congress.    
   The Nobel Prize in Chemistry is awarded annually by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences to scientists in the various fields of chemistry.The first Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded in 1901 to Jacobus Henricus van't Hoff,from Netherlands, for his discovery of the laws of chemical dynamics and osmotic pressure in solutions.  
   In my opinion, the Nobel Prizes are very important and should continue to happen the following years.
