Pavlos Sidiropoulos was born on 27 July 1948 in Athens.His father,Kostas,was from Sohum,Russia and he and his family worked as tobacco traders.They moved to Kilkis,Greece after the Russian Revolution of 1917.In 1936,Kostas and his family left Kilkis and moved to Thessaloniki where they settled permanently.
In 1970,Pavlos and his friend and partner Pantelis Delleyannidis ,formed the music group "Damon and Phidias" and later released their debut album "Zorba The freak".When he finished his maths studies,he and Pantelis returned to Athens where they soon joined "Bourboulia",and even later,Sidiropoulos cooperated with "Spyridoula" with whom he released "Flou" which is considered as the most important album in the history of Greek Rock.However,in 1980,he joined "Oi aprosarmostoi' where he remained until his death.
Unfortunately,he became addicted to heroin,which was also the main cause of his death,along with his mother's death,on 1990.On December 6 1990,he departed this life,due to his serious arm injuries because of heroin.
